Fill them with 2 to 3 times as much as the seeds. Soak for 8 to 12 hours. Drain the water and rinse again with cold water. Cover the mung beans with a light cloth and at room temperature. It has good source of vitamins, minerals and fiber.

You can use mung beans in salads, main dishes, soups, spreads, savories and desserts. Mung beans can also combined with white rice and brown rice. It also goes well with flatbreads and chapati.
